Raconte-moi la forêt (Tell Me About the Forest)

We find ourselves in the forest undergrowth, with all the rich details captured by the photograph. Colorful elements reveal various presences in the form of the artist’s childhood drawings. On one side, trees, flowers, and birds represent the familiar creatures that inhabit the forest, evoking children’s attentive gaze upon the world. On the other side, characters that are half-real, half-imaginary inhabit the scene and invite us to explore the dreamlike connection that can also be cultivated there. Together, these various creatures encourage us to tell the story of the forest—through what we can observe, feel, remember, learn, and imagine.
