The artist elicits reflection on the nature of the community within this growingly impersonalized and mechanized urban environment. Distributing bribes of banal and amusing stories on strangers, she pays homage to those forgotten memoirs and histories. She also explores the dimension of language. Writing two different stories on the same individual, one in French and the other in English, she emphases the limits and the richness of language, therefore commenting on her own cultural milieu.
