The exhibition Les dernières prospections (The last explorations) includes different works that investigate the visual imagination around photographs used for geological surveys and explorations. With the use of archival material and the artist's photographs, the installation reflects on the status of photographs as document or artwork.

The project Les dernières prospections is the result of an artist residency on the north coast region of Québec in the summer of 2014, supported by Panache art actuel. The artist wishes to thank the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec for its financial support of the project.
